This is a 1950's vintage Aloha shirt with a one-way horizontal print by THE KAHALA, Made in Honolulu. Busy white print on a dark blue background of Hawaiian huts, throw-net fishermen, erupting volcanoes, luau with a pig roast, a dude chillaxin under a palm tree playing ukulele, bongo players and a lei lady selling flower leis. If you have ever been to Hawaii you will understand the unassuming local Hawaiian lifestyle of good food, good friends and good music. Simple but dramatic and effective print. It has a left chest pocket, plastic bamboo shaped buttons, neckloop and vertical button holes. Size marked MEDIUM, in inches - Shoulders 18, Chest 22, Length 28 and Sleeves 9. Mint condition - no defects. It includes a rare feature for the 50's shirt - an EXTRA plastic shaped button sewn on the inside placket.
