Vintage Aloha shirt History for sale ! This "modern" 90's shirt is from an employee at the old Musashiya Inc. store at the Ala Moana Center. The store closed in 2001 after 100+ years. The original owner, Koichiro Miyamoto, is credited with inventing the aloha shirt in the mid 1930's. Gray cotton background with the company logo MUSASHIYA INC. HAWAII is screened in a two way print in white. It has a perfectly matched left chest pocket, wood buttons and vertical button holes. Size not marked but measures LARGE, in inches - Shoulders 19, Chest 25, Length 30 and Sleeves 10. Mint condition - no defects.
